Burks Up LLC (“Burks Up,” “we,” “us,” “our”) builds websites and marketing systems for home service businesses. We take your privacy seriously, because we know you’d want the same from your own customers. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do (and don’t do) with it.

- How you got here (referral source, search terms)
- Cookies and tracking data from the tools listed below
How We Use It

Cookies & Tracking Tools
We use a few tools to understand how our site is used and to improve our marketing. Here’s the honest list.

Meta (Facebook) Pixel

Text Messages (SMS)
If you give us your phone number and check the consent box, you’re giving Burks Up LLC permission to text you. We use texts for two reasons.

This includes things like your audit, your preview link, scheduling, project updates, and follow-ups.
2. Occasional marketing about our services
If you opt in, we may also send occasional messages about Burks Up LLC offers or services. We keep it reasonable. No spam blasts.
The important part:
- We do not sell or share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
- Your information may be shared with service providers only as necessary to deliver SMS communications.
- Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or request help by replying HELP.
- SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing any service.
Who We Share Data With
We don’t sell your information. Period. We share data only with service providers who help us operate.
- Payment processors –to handle your transaction securely
- Analytics & advertising platforms –like Google and Meta (as described above)
- Email & CRM tools –to manage communication with you
- Hosting providers –where our site and your project files live
These providers only access what they need to do their job. They don’t use your data for their own marketing.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your project files and contact info for as long as we have an active business relationship. If you ask us to delete your data, we will. Some data (like payment records) may be retained longer as required by law.
Your Rights
You can:
- Access –ask what data we have about you
- Correct –fix anything that’s wrong
- Delete –request we remove your data
- Opt out –unsubscribe from emails or texts at any time
California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal info we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are for businesses, not kids. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, let us know and we’ll delete it immediately.
Security
We use SSL encryption, secure payment processing, and follow industry best practices to protect your data. No system is 100% bulletproof, but we take it seriously.
